February 2025 – Turtles change nesting dates due to climate change
Recent research shows that green and loggerhead turtles are starting to nest earlier each year. This change helps them avoid high sand temperatures, which can reduce hatching success.

The first location is near the Alagadi Turtle Paradise restaurant and bar (digging at 6 p.m., release at 7 p.m.), followed by a release at Akdeniz Caretta Beach at 7:15 p.m.
