The Cyprus-Turkey Travel Agency Association (KITSAB) participated in the Vakantiebeurs Tourism Fair 2026, an international exhibition held in Utrecht, Netherlands, from 8-11 January 2026.

The exhibition made a significant contribution to the international promotion of tourism in the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus).

According to a statement by the Cyprus-Turkish Association of Travel Agencies (KITSAB), KITSAB Board Member Çağdaş Uçaner represented the association at the exhibition, informing visitors and industry representatives about tourism in Northern Cyprus, the services offered by travel agencies, and the country's tourism potential.

 The statement noted that the TRNC booth generated significant interest throughout the exhibition, highlighting the growing interest and demand for Northern Cyprus.

It was also stated that the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of TRNC, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment in the exhibition contributed to the promotion of the country's tourism in the international arena, and that this representation, which was achieved through the cooperation of the public and civil society, made it possible to present the TRNC tourism concept to a wider audience.

Çağdaş Uçaner, a member of the KITSAB board of directors, emphasized that the contacts established at the tourism exhibition in Utrecht opened the door to new collaborations and contributed to the achievement of the sustainable tourism goals in Northern Cyprus.

 The promotional activities presented at the exhibition were praised as "an important step forward for the country's tourism, increasing its visibility in the European market."
