Mayor of Kırıhan Murat Şenkul announced the launch of the long-awaited
electric bike sharing system, which was implemented in partnership with Tazı Mobility. The project, which costs 37 million Turkish liras, aims to reduce urban traffic and provide an eco-friendly transportation option for residents and tourists. The new bright yellow bicycles are equipped with phone charging features, a speed limit of 25 km/h, and GPS trackers for safety.
In honor of the system's opening, there is a special
offer: the first 30 minutes of each ride are completely
free. The standard rental price may vary (approximately
10 liras per minute, depending on the selected plan), and
payments are made through the mobile app. The first
days of the system's operation have shown great interest
from the city's residents, confirming the demand for
this type of transportation in the narrow streets of the
old city and along the waterfront.
How to get started:
1) Download the Tazı app (available on the App Store
and Google Play).
2) Complete a quick registration using your phone number.
3) Link your bank card and top up your balance in the app.
4) Find the nearest available bike on the map and scan the QR code on the handlebars to unlock it.
5) After completing your ride, park the bike in a safe location and end your rental in the app
